As usual mad amounts going on behind the scenes at Riotstep HQ, even if its quiet on here! Now that we've gotten over the post-tour blues we have to say once again massive thanks to everyone who played with us, fed us, put us up, put the shows on, came and danced, came and didn't dance, bantered with us or heckled us! We had a wicked week with the
[Pop]ulation boys and highly suggest you get them listened or go see em when they play near you cos these guys put on a show!! Breaking musical boundaries with intelligence and sincerity, I have nothing but mad respect for em!!
Anyways, now I'm back and locked in the studio Ive got a whole heap of shit on the go, remixes (for a certain set of
boomers), collabs (with some
venomous ravers), split releases, and getting further into the
Capitol 1212 LP which is rammed to the brim with sunshine, bass, hip hop, ragga, dub, funk and jungle, with some of the finest (nay, I would say the absolute finest!) reggae hip hop MCs and chatters you could ever hope to hear! Can't give any specifics right now as it's all hush-hush but we just got my favourite MC on one of the tracks for the LP and trust me its going to be a carnival rinser!! Keep yer ears open and to the ground, something wicked this way comes!
